Christian Iurato first became interested in Financial Planning while attending West Virginia University, where he graduated with a degree in Finance in 2016. After graduation, he joined David Lerner Associates as an Investment Counselor in White Plains, New York. After about three years, he realized that he wanted to be fully independent and take more of a straightforward, goals-based approach to financial planning. He wanted to make more of an impact with his clients, so he decided to join the independent firm Empire South Financial in 2019.
Christian has two major roles with Empire South Financial. He is primarily focused on helping individuals with their protection and investment needs. He also enjoys serving our first responders because his younger brother, Alec is a Bristol, Connecticut police officer. Christian’s second role is in the 401k space where he helps business owners and plan participants with their 401k options. Middle America is the most underserved part of the market and this is where he feels he can make the greatest impact. He does this by taking the role of a teacher, then becoming a coach over time. The biggest issue for most people is their lack of financial education. He has made it his mission to change that. He believes that if people are educated correctly, they will make wise decisions for their families, businesses, and themselves.
Christian now lives in Stamford, Connecticut and works out of White Plains, New York. He spends most of his time with his family and friends, exercising, traveling, and cooking. He and his family are also part of Make-A-Wish® Hudson Valley, where they have helped fund many wishes for local children with critical illnesses.
Christian Iurato is a Registered Representative of First Allied Securities Inc, and Investment Adviser Representative of Cetera Investment Advisers LLC.
